Privacy Policy

Lesson Worlds is operated by Shabe Ai Corp. ("we," "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use https://www.lessonworlds.com, how we use it, and your choices.

Parents create and manage child profiles. Children sign in with a parent-created username and password; no child email is required. Some free and classroom activities can also be played through shared browser links. Teachers and parents sign in with email to manage accounts, billing, and dashboards.

When students play a Lesson Worlds game:

• Shared-link games may ask for a display name and usernameor a class password. Signed-in children can use their child profile. We do not require a student email address.
• If the teacher enabled a leaderboard for that game, we store run data on our servers: display name, username, score, time, and which questions were answered correctly or incorrectly (including question prompts).
• Practice mode and some kid links may skip server-side score storage.
• Some anonymous game progress, gate form recall and local bests are stored in the browser on that device. Signed-in learning activity can also be saved on our servers.

Teachers may maintain a class roster (usernames). Parents on the household dashboard may create child profiles (name, grade, subjects, learning strengths, and practice usernames) and learning plans. Child accounts store a username, display name, a password hash and session information. We also store learning paths, game and practice attempts, answers and results from available skill checks, and saved preferences and progress. These records support the child's experience and the parent progress dashboard.

We do not sell student data or build advertising profiles from student play. Teachers and parents are responsible for obtaining any school or parental consent required before sharing lesson content or assigning games.

When you sign in as a teacher or parent, we collect:

• Email address (for one-time sign-in codes and account identity)
• Display name (optional)
• Account type (educator vs family) after you choose it at signup
• Games you create, class rosters, family child profiles, and subscription status
• Lesson plans or homework you paste for AI parsing (processed to generate game content; not used for ads)

Educators with paid plans may receive AI-generated student summaries derived from stored run history for usernames on their class roster.

Family membership and existing legacy paid plans are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and a Stripe customer ID; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data they process.

With your consent, we use:

• First-party analytics, page views and product events (e.g. signup, pricing views) to understand how people use Lesson Worlds.

Session recording is disabled. Household, student, sign-in and play pages are excluded from browser marketing analytics.

We use essential cookies for sign-in and a one-time anonymous preview of game creation before login. You can accept or decline optional analytics cookies via the banner on your first visit. Use Cookie settings in the site footer to review or change your choice. Opening settings does not change your existing choice.

We use third-party AI providers (e.g. OpenAI, Google Gemini) to parse lesson plans, generate practice questions, and produce educator-facing student summaries. Content you submit is sent to those providers only to deliver the feature you requested. Do not submit sensitive personal information about students beyond what is needed for the game.

We retain account and game data while your account is active and as needed for billing, support, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing vigeash@lessonworlds.com. We will also delete or anonymize data when no longer required, subject to backup and legal retention limits.

Children can use parent-managed accounts or eligible shared-link activities. We collect the profile information parents or teachers configure, information entered at game gates, and learning activity described above. If you believe we have collected a child's personal information in error, contact us at vigeash@lessonworlds.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact vigeash@lessonworlds.com to make a request.
